Alice Achieng Okeyo

Alice is a half orphaned child living with her HIV positive mother. Alice's father had 2 wives and she is the 7th child out of the 8 children bared by the first wife. Alice is a very shy girl who likes to play netball with her friends. She would want to be a teacher.


Washington Onyango Oyar

Age: 8 years. Class:2

Washington is a half-orphaned child who is currently living with his HIV-positive mother. His father was a victim of HIV/AIDS. Washington is the youngest child in his family of many other siblings age up to Class 8. Unlike many children who love to play sports after doing house chores, Washington loves to read story books. Washington can't wait to become a teacher when he grows up.


Frederick Otieno Okello

Age: 7 years. Class:1

Frederick is a half-orphaned child who is currently living with his mother, along with his 3 siblings. Frederick's mother is a volunteer (Rosalina) who helps cook for the orphans. Frederick is a shy but active boy who loves to play football, help his mother collect firewood, water and help around the house. Frederick likes school very much and would like to become a teacher when he grows up.

Brian Kamau Nyaligo

Age: 8 years. Class:2

Brian is a total-orphan who has been living with a volunteer mother (Jennifer) from Dago Dala Hera for a year now. Brian is a boy who likes to study and play football but still help the caretaker around the house. Brian would like to become a mechanic when he grows up.


Billy Otieno Ooko

Age: 6 years. Class: Nursery

Billy is a total orphan whose parents were victims of HIV/AIDS. Billy is currently living with his grandmother, who is also a widow, along with another younger child. Billy is a shy boy and felt left out from the other school children because he does not have proper school uniform. Billy is a boy who likes to read and play sports after helping his grandmother collect firewood, water and clean dishes. Billy wishes to become a commercial builder when he grows up.


Tobias Otieno Otieno

Age: 11 years Class: 4

Tobias is a total orphan whose parents were victims of HIV/AIDS. Tobias is the third child in the family of 4 children. Tobias is currently staying with his step-grandmother. Tobias wishes to become a doctor when he grows up. His favorite subjects in school are math and science. When Tobias is not in school, he looks after the cows, works in the garden, and likes to read and play football. When Tobias was asked what his favorite food was his answer was vegetables.


Austin Otieno Omolo

Age: 11 years. Class: 2

Austin is a half-orphaned child who is currently living with his mother. Austin is the youngest child in a family of 4 children. Austin's mother is a volunteer at Dago Dala Hera (Prisilla). Austin is a shy boy. He would like to become a doctor when he grows up because he would like to give injections. When Austin is not in school he likes to play football with his friends and help look after the family cows.

Dolphine Akinyi Okinyi

Age: 7 years. Class: 1

Dolphine is a half-orphaned child who is currently living with her mother. Dolphine is the sixth child in a family of 8 children. There are total of 5 boys and 3 girls in the family. Dolphine is a
shy, quiet spoken girl who has not yet decided on what she is would like to be when she grows up. Her favorite subject in school is English and her favorite activity is running. When she is not in school she helps her mother with cleaning the family compound.
