The Dago Dala Hera Orphanage is currently enjoying the benefits of the following projects:

1. DAYCARE FEEDING PROGRAM (initiated in 2005)
The orphanage is currently functioning as a daycare feeding program for primary school children during school days. This program began in 2005 and feeds 95 orphans, 2 meals a day for the 39 weeks the children attend school.Depending on how many children are in care, as well as the fluctuation in the costs of food due to changes in the market and inflation issues after post-election violence, food prices have been changing all the time. Women within the community volunteer their time to prepare these meals.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Ongoing funding is required to ensure this project runs uninterrupted.Your in kind donation support our effort of $800 per month.

2. LAND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (2007)
We had been blessed with a land lease project for along time, But this year, we have gotten a donation that will help us acquire 10 acres of land. We hope this will cover all the equipments and farming needs. the community will provide services and Seeding, weeding, harvesting and other necessary labor will be the joint effort of volunteers and the community members that there relatives benefit from the orphanage feeding program.We hope to  establishment of long seasoned crops as well as cash crops for self-sustainability.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Funding for the agricultural production costs $260  per season. Further funding is required to continue this project.

3. SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM:( initiated 2008)
We are currently looking for sponsorship of the orphaned children as well as the vulnerable children in our community. We have always wanted the children to prosper and have better education for a brighter future. All are welcomed to choose or be given a recommendation as to who they can sponsor.We have managed to help 12 children to get sponsorship.

All the children are equally needy and we are hoping that you will support us in giving better education to the children.

4 BASIC PROVISIONS FOR THE FULL BOARDERS (36 GIRLS) (initiated 2008)
We have managed to house 36 girls. We are looking for support of Basic needs for all the girls (clothing’s, basic supplies, school supplies, food, shoes, toys, and medical support e.t.c) are welcomed. To provide comfortably for the children, it costs v$780 for the girls.

Any support is it cash or donations or grants as well as moral support is all welcomed. These will empower the children.
